I Anthony Rymell of Dean Street Fetter lane London Gentleman being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.
First I direct that my Body be decently interred at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter named and in their Trust I direct that all my just debts funeral expenses and the charges attending the proving of this my Will may be fully paid and satisfied and after paying the like I give and bequeath the rest residue and remainder of my Estate and Effects which God has blessed me with and am interested in or intituled unto in manner following that is to say I give and bequeath unto my cousin Samuel Parrott of Corsly in the county of Wilts gardener the sum of one hundred pounds
I also give to the Reverend Mr Kingdon of Frome in the county of Somerset the sum of fifty pounds
I also give to Mr Austin of Marsham Street Westminster who preaches at the chapel in Fetter Lane the sum of fifty pounds.
I also give to Henry Allan the elder two hundred and fifty pounds
I also give to Samuel Allan the younger two hundred and fifty pounds
I also give to Mr Robert Mounsey of Castle Street Holborn London gentleman his executors and administrators as much money arising from my personal estate or stock and to be transferred into his name now standing in my name in the bank of England as the Interest arising therefrom will when laid out in Government Real or other Securities as will produce and bring in twenty pounds per annum of lawful money of Great Britain in trust that he or they do and shall from time to rime place out at interest either on Government or Real or other Securities and pay and apply the interest or dividends arising therefrom as he or they shall receive the same to and for the use of my housekeeper Mary Fielder for and during the term of her natural life
I also give to the said Mary Fielder fifty pounds and also my Beds and Bedding Table Silver Household and other furniture in my house in Dean Street where I now live.
I also give to Mr Charles Boyle the sum of fifty pounds.
I also give and devise and bequeath unto my relation Hezekiah Rymell of Frome aforesaid all that my Freehold Messuage or Tenement and Lands with Appurtenances situate and being in the parish of Frome commonly called or known by the name of Wellhouse to save and to hold the said Messuage or Tenement Lands and Premises with the Appurtenances unto the said Hezekiah Rymell his Heirs and Assigns forever.
I also give to the said Robert Mounsey the sum of twenty pounds for his trouble in the execution of the trust hereby reposed in him them and I will and direct that the said Robert Mounsey his Executors and Administrators shall be allowed all such costs charges damages and expenses as they or any of them shall sustain or be put to in the Execution of the Trusts under this my Will or in any way relating thereto and I do declare and direct that the said Robert Mounsey his Executors or Administrators shall not by any means be accountable or answerable for any involuntary losses or for any loss or losses of Money but such sum as he shall actually receive. But in case there shall be any Surplus after payment of all my debts legacies and funeral expenses and proving of this my Will then I give devise and bequeath all such surplus and all the rest residue and remainder of my estate and effects whatsoever to the said Robert Mounsey his executors administrators and assigns in trust to convert such part thereof into money as shall not be so at the time of my death and to be given applied and paid after the death of the said Mary Fielder to such Charitable uses as the said Mr Kingdon and my said Executor Robert Mounsey shall think fit to appoint.
And I do make constitute and appoint the said Robert Mounsey sole executor of this my last Will and Testament.
And lastly I do hereby revoke and make void all and every former and other Will and Wills and Codicils by me at any time herebefore made or signed and do ordain this to be my only and true last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof of I the said Anthony Rymell have to this my last Will and Testament contained in two sheets of paper set my hand and seal namely to the first of them my hand and to the second sheet of the two my hand and seal the eighth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety five A. Rymell
Signed sealed and published by the said Anthony Rymell as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names and each respectively saw the other subscribe his name as witness thereunto J. P. Mounsey Hen. Ja: Heatley Grays Inn Robert Wilson.
I give rings to the following persons viz. one to Mr Mounsey one to Mr Boyle one to Mr Allan and his son each one to Mr Wilson and one to Mr Austin dated the fifth day of May 1795 A. Rymell witness Mary Bentley

On which day appeared personally James Powell Mounsey of the parish of St Andrew Holborn in the county of Middlesex gentleman and by virtue of his corporal oath reposed that he knew and was well acquainted with Anthony Rymell of Dean Street Fetter Lane in the parish of St. Andrew Holborn London deceased and hath twice seen him write and subscribe his name and thereby came well to know and be acquainted with his manner and character of handwriting and subscription and having now carefully viewed and perused the paper writing hereunto annexed purporting to be and containing a codicil to the last Will and Testament of the said deceased beginning thus "I give rings to the following persons" ending thus "dated this fifth day of May 1795" and thus subscribed "A. Rymell" this deponent said he doth verily and in his conscience believe the said name and subscription "A. Rymell" so set and subscribed to the said codicil to be of the proper handwriting and subscription of the said Anthony Rymell deceased J. P. Mounsey same day the said James Powell Mounsey was duly sworn to the truth of this affidavit before me S. P. Parson surrogate George Bogg Not. Publ.
This Will was proved at London with a Codicil the twenty third day of may in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and ninety five before the worshipful Samuel Pearce parson Doctor of Laws surrogate of the right honourable Sir William Wright also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Robert Monsey the sole Executor in the said Will to whom Administration was granted all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the deceased having been first sworn duly to administer.
